Nishati Foundation was born from a deep belief that no child should be left behind because of circumstances beyond their control. In a world increasingly shaped by technology, bright and eager minds from many less fortunate schools, are limited not by ability, but by lack of access to technology that has become essential to learning and opportunity.
Across Kenya, most public and underserved schools lack computer labs and basic digital infrastructure. For many students, a computer is something they only see in textbooks — not something they get to touch, explore, or learn from. Children encounter coding far too late in their education, if at all, long after curiosity should have been nurtured and confidence built.
At the same time, the global economy is rapidly shifting toward artificial intelligence, robotics, and programming, shaping today’s jobs, industries, and innovations. Without intentional intervention, Kenya risks raising a generation that is unprepared for the very future they will inherit. Nishati Foundation was formed to change this narrative through practical, compassionate, and sustainable solutions like:
- Donating books and learning materials that introduce children to technology.
- After-school coding clubs.
- Digital literacy boot camps.
- Mentorship programs, just to mention a few.
