About Nishati Foundation
Nishati foundation was founded by IT professionals from Kenya, who are based in Spain, with a mission of empowering children from ages 12 and above with computing and programming skills.
Our foundation aims to bridge the digital divide by introducing coding, digital literacy and problem solving skills to children in under-resourced schools. Thus, opening doors to innovation, problem-solving, and future career paths—empowering them to break cycles of inequality because every child deserves a chance to dream big.
We believe that access to technology is not a privilege but a right, and that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and compete in a digital world.
Our Programs
Each program at Nishati Foundation, plays a unique role in shaping young innovators and dreamers.
Schools
We partner with less fortunate schools across Kenya to bring coding lessons, digital literacy programs, and mentorship opportunities directly to the students who need them most. Our team visits schools to set up coding clubs, organize interactive workshops and host digital learning days that open young minds to the world of technology.
Extra curricular activities
Our extra curricular activities such as coding clubs and digital literacy programs are meant to nurture both technical ability and personal growth, empowering every child to see that with the right skills they can build a brighter future for themselves and their community.
Further education
Through our mentorship programs, skills development courses, and career guidance initiatives, we support learners who show passion and potential, helping them take the next step toward higher education or meaningful careers in technology.
Our Mission
To provide free, accessible computing and coding education to Kenyan children aged 12+, creating pathways to innovation, employment, and empowerment.
